I have three of these types of bags and they're perfect for work! They carry a bunch of little things that I may need like pens, pencil sharpeners, pocket scissors, rubber bands, lip balm, hand cream, bandages, tea bags, handkerchiefs, etc. I also especially love that I could either wear this like a shoulder purse or clip it to my pants. It's cute, holds a lot, and makes the people at my job happy.
