HOW IT STARTED
Like many of you, we were captivated by the colorful characters, the cheerful designs, and the way even the smallest cute item could bring a huge smile to our faces.
But there was a problem – finding authentic, high-quality kawaii products outside of Japan was like searching for a hidden treasure.
The world felt a little less colorful, a little less... kawaii.
TRIP TO HARAJUKU
A trip to Harajuku, Tokyo, opened our eyes. Surrounded by the endless creativity, the charming character cafes, and the sheer happiness that kawaii culture brings to everyday life, we had an epiphany.
This feeling of pure joy and delight was something that needed to be shared with the world. It wasn't just about cute products; it was about a lifestyle of happiness, friendship, and finding magic in the little things.
A BIG DREAM
We started small, with a suitcase full of our favorite Japanese stationery and a dream to bring the authentic kawaii experience to a global audience.
The journey wasn't always easy. We navigated language barriers, learned about the intricacies of Japanese culture.
We wanted to create a place where fellow kawaii fans could find products that were not only adorable but also made with love and care, ensuring they would bring lasting happiness.

In 2005, we launched Blippo, and were overwhelmed by the amazing response from the community.
