Mediocre

The flavor was a nice idea, but the standard white chocolate/confection base would have been better done as a mild dark chocolate.

A Truly Unique Chocolate Flavor

This flavor does not necessarily taste like the typical American Kit Kat, in case you're wondering. I honestly forgot it was chocolate at all. The Kit Kats are grey in color and taste closer to a Earl Gray tea than any sort of chocolate. With a subtle sweetness, it was a perfect treat and very satisfying. I don't know if Hojicha means something relating to tea or a different flavor in Japanese, but I was happily surprised by this one!

Unexpectedly good!

When you’re not used to Hojicha or you never tried this type of tea before, the taste might be strange at the beginning. But the more you eat the more you’re gonna like it. The flavor reminds me a little bit of cappuccino or nougat somehow, although both are absolutely not one of the ingredients.
Its taste is truly hard to describe but I perceive it as rich and ‘full-bodied’ like a praline.
